ok for you guys to understand my question... i need to give a little back story


in august i decided to get myself a EB MM ( duh ) JPM 6 string in carbon blue and with a matching headstock when i ordered it ( since there was none in stock ) they told me it had to be made and that it would take 4-6 months

it's been a little more than 4 months now and i've been getting all excited and hyped i decided to ask people ( on the JP forums) how long they had to wait for their EBMM JPM to be made and from all the responses the answer has been 2 months!!

there's even one guy who said he ordered his in september and got it in november which really gets to me!!


and ya i PMd Derek to see if he could tell me what's going on but havent gotten an answer back so if anyone here can tell me how long they waited or just give me some advice as to what i should do

Hey dV... Did you order that guitar through Steve's or Long & McQuade? I don't know about L&M but if was Steve's I'm sure that they're trying to get it for you as quickly as possible... You probably just got in an unlucky run - if you want particular features and a particular color, and they're sold out of that combo, and aren't running another batch off the line for a few months, you gotta wait, no way around it. The GOOD thing is that when you do get it, you're getting exactly what you want! and you'll receive a guitar that NOONE else has played except the guys who set it up in the factory...

ya i got it from Steve's.... that's the thing i didn't get it with a bunch of special features just a matching headstock and it's in a pretty basic color but anyway i dont really care as long as it's here before christmas

Being from Montreal....

Well this is only speculation but. When i asked about ordering one from Montreal's Steve.s. They told me about the same thing......... Soooo i bought the one off the rack. ....see where i'm going with this.......??? luckely. This ended up being a good thing. because i got a Silhouette special, with ssh, autumn red sparkle with matching head witch is discontinued now and perloid PG.

Bottom line, they tried to convince you of buying off the rack... You will probably get it much sooner.

Ottawa Steve's doesn't keep any EB/MM guitars "on the rack" The only way to buy a new EB/MM in this town is to order one in, unless you go to Long & McQuade and pick up one of the three Axis they have in stock (and have had in stock since they opened - those poor guitars are a mess)...

FWIW, I waited 4 months to get my Carbon Blue 7 String. It was optioned out, and still took about a month longer than anticipated.

It's worth the wait, trust me....

ya... they've had those three Axis guitars there for such a long time

they are way down in price from what i can remember since they want to get rid of them
