L&M Steeles is a bit far for me, I'm closer to L&M Mississauga, but I don't think I've ever seen any EBMM's there.... might be one of those business deals with their competitors because i know that Guitarshop carries it.
L&M at Bloor & Ossington usually has a couple in stock. I haven't been there in while but used to be surprised at what they had ... even had a sparkly Morse w/ Floyd.

12th Fret is usually pretty good too.

Also The Arts in Newmarket is good- lots of stuff there.

lately, playing guitar has taken more priority over beating 12 yr olds in video games... which is a good thing in my mind

It's all about balance I suppose. I still manage to find time for guitar, games, my r/c planes and other things like work and school ;)

So I've figured out what to do during my Long Wait™.

I've decided to rebuild my first guitar, aka "#1". (my EBMM Axis on order will be #7, BTW)

#1 is a Made in Japan Fender Stratocaster, pearl white, redwood neck, 2 humbuckers, black pickguard, gloss black neck, rosewood fretboard.

I learned on this guitar... really used 'er up. Frets are worn down, neck is pretty grimey. I slowed down using her around 1990 when I got my second electric. Around 1994 she got put away in storage, and a PRS entered my life.

I've just taken her out again - to think - she hasn't seen the light of day in 13 years! I've started to take her apart, clean things up.

I'm thinking of putting in new electronics, new pickguard. Lots to investigate here. Do I stick with humbuckers? It has routing for three 'buckers. Do I swap out the rather odd Fender "System I" locking tremolo?

Anyway, I'm not sure if it'll take 4+ months, but it's a start!
