Aussiemark's purple is a thing of beauty.

I never should have sold my metal flake brown SR4. It's somewhere down Singapore way now.

I like the purple. Maybe one that is a bit more metalic in the future? Add that to the Dream Bongo" thread.

Here in Central PA the local stores only like to carry EBMM stuff in sinister black or other dark colors. No sense of imagination out here.

I wish they would do a gold burst. My guitarist and I did a mock up of gold burst stingray and a JP6, and we were drooling over the pictures. I wish I would have saved them to show you, they were sexy as hell. It would be a very unique color because no one offers it lol.

they need to start putting out bongos in the most garish colors imaginable. the thing allready looks weird, why not go a step further? i think they'd sell a ton of plaid bongos.

EDIT:its good cause its weird! no bass is easier to get the sound you want out of! seriously!

Am I allowed to twist this thread around a little, by saying instead: What is the ugliest colour combination that EMBB never ever did? And then point you to those ghastly flea basses in green with a pink pickguard, or light blue with orange pickguard? I rest my case, ban me now!! PLEASE!! :D

The EBMM wizards tried. Hard. But excellent as they are, they always ended up with those garish colours being beautiful.... like Desert Gold and Teal Pearl and Logan Green and Lava Pearl and Medallion Gold and Ice Blue... :D

i guess i was just hoping for a flat out hideous colour. but really though they have done an excellent job over the years with the colors. even the non mainstream ones look great. even...heinz.

Lots of people thought this was hideous, although they were more diplomatic in saying it...

I recall offering the sparkly Sterling to you at one time or other as a trade for your autumn redrise. I miss that Sterling so I put the feelers out on the basschat forum to see if anyone knew its whereabouts but nothing came back.
Fire engine red is another rare one. There was one on ebay lasy year which sold for a fair few quid under the going rate. I was sorely tempted and had the cash but didnt bite
Komp

I believe I have a white sparkle Sterling somewhere
