my first was a strat copy made by Becker. absolute piece of ****e!!!!!!!!!!!!! i actually walked into the shop and said "i want to buy my first electric guitar, and know nothing at all". i got ripped off, as i should have! I learnt to do my homework from then on.....
My first guitar was Harmony accoustic bought from Sears by my parents for a Christmas gift, and I still have it.
The first guitar I bought for myself was a 1985 Takemine N-25 (basically an all rosewood, spruce top, N-20) jumbo accoustic. Only 500 were made. I still have it.
My first electric guitar was 1987 Fender USA Stratocaster. I wish I still had it. I have since owned a variety of Strats (Roadhouse, Ash, 50th Deluxe, Highway One) but none sounded or felt as good as that '87 US Strat.
Mine was an 3/4 size acoustic nylon no namer.
First electric was a Hondo 2 Les Paul copy - that was a pretty cool guitar, though had some major fret buzz issues. I sold it after a few years to go halves with my father for my next electric.
First guitar ever was a Yamaha nylon acoustic at the age of 7.
I still own it though I'm 31 now...
First electric was a 1979 Ibanez Musician MC300 Limited Edition. Awesome guitar, but guess what - sold it lately in favor of the purchase of another Ball
Old nylon acoustic from 1920 which my grandma gave me. It belonged to her aunt and guess what I still have it.
I wish I still had my piano from 1868 whichused to be the house piano in a cinema.
Ibanez RG550Dy. Still have it. Like the way Ibanez built their guitars back then, but has since moved on to Musicman in search for build quality and playability
My first was a black Series A (Strat knock off)
I paid $119 for it at the time.
It was actually a great guitar. I lent it to a "friend" asI was buying Kramers and Washburns at the time. I never saw it again, but am sure he still has it. He's a cheap s.o.b.
I still have my first guitar (acoustic) - it's an old, beat-up Takamine. So old, in fact, that the bridge has lifted off of the body and is now held in place by a thru-bolt
My first electric guitar was a cheap red Aria Pro. I wound up getting rid of that one about a year later when I picked up a Gibson Flying V (which I still have). After that I added a Kramer American Pacer Deluxe and started forming my own stable. A few years later I added a custom 7 string to the mix, and over the past 3 years I've added a lot of Balls.
I still have my first, a super nice Rosewood ASS
I'm an old fart Baby Boomer starting late in life. I'm lucky that I stumbled into EBMM before I made a mistake buying from that "Life Style" Co.
I'll never be any good, and I struggle a lot, but the journey is what its all about and it has been fun.
A Charvette (by Charvel) in 1990. At that time I thought it is good, payed 900 DM (=450 €). Nowadays I can´t believe what crap it is. It has bad PUPs, no sound, because it has a very little body and a short scale. Plus the headstock was ultramodern at this time. Unbelieveable.
I don´t play it anymore, but would neer sell it. I would get nothing for it and it is a great memory
