Hi all,

I am new to the forum. I have a sweet little '83 Stingray. She's a burst with a maple board. I'll need to get some photos together. I'm also looking for an early 90's Stingray. Prefer black or white with a maple board but color or board isn't that critical, 2-band EQ though.

Anyway, I was wondering what the original mute pads were made of?

Hey Jerry J,

Welcome to the forum! I think we'd all like to see some pics of that bad boy, and, as a a fellow Stumptowner, I'd love to see you play. Any gigs coming up?

Unfortunately I'm not playing with anyone now. But I'm looking for an opportunity.

Maybe one of you could help me. I tried contacting one of the Mods.

I can't seem to send out PMs. I get the PM all typed up and then hit send. It all looks good to go but when I check my private messages log it shows "0" sent.

Also I don't get an email notice when someone has posted to a thread that I'm subscribed to.

Any assistance is appreciated.
