I'ld kill for a 13-pin midi out with trem on all models please :D. It would cost me over 800 euros to retrofit the Graphtech Floyd Ghost/hexpander thingie on my Silo...

I really wanna respond to this thread, but my response would take it into custom-guitar territory.

Let's see... as for minor changes; If my Silo Special had a mahogany body and an ebony fretboard that would be awesome.

I hit the volume knob on my ALs so I'd like it moved - but there again maybe I need to alter my technique. was thinking of swopping the vol and tone pots so if I do hit it, my volume won't die just less trebley!!

Same with me with the piezo switch on a JP6. I think it's too late for me to change my technique now though! :D

Oh, I'd like a push-pull on the volume knob on my JP6s to turn the pickups into singles. Would make it really versatile then.

Will prob get this done to one of mine when I get round to it....

The only thing I often want to improve when playing EBMMs is my playing. Those guitars are so good You'd better be on top of your game to do them justice.

why don't you just upgrade to a BFR JP?

Eh, In general, I don't really care for the crazy flame and quilt tops. I know, I know, I am crazy :). I used to be all about figured maple tops, but my tastes have changed. actually, I do like the Morse Y2D and the look of some PRS's, but those are my exceptions. I also prefer the shape of the JP6 and I don't want to drop the amount of change a BFR would cost.

BFR JP body, chambered over the top half of the body for toneZ^.
8 strings, tuned BEADGBea, 25.5" - 27.5" fan, seventh fret perpendicular. True Temperament frets (They don't do it for sevens even, how about a multiscale eight?).

But really, I love my BFR JP7. I still dream of the above guitar though.
