People gig Alembics and other expensive basses, so why not gig the BFR?

I'd play it. No use having a bass you can't play. It could burn up in a house fire while you are at the gig.

I used to gig my Alembic all the time when I owned it. I had to sell it to buy a better bass though. Now I gig my 92 trans white SR or my frettless 30th.

i would play it at home , but not at gigs, my friend had 2 PRS guitars knocked off the stage by some drunk , it was not a pretty sight
