it was originally a Silo Special only finish when they first came out (about '95) It wasnt until a few years later it was offered on other models I bleeb.
iirc, when I worked in my local music store who were EBMM dealers at the time,that it was in the option list then. For the basses I'd hazard a guess at around '99 -'02
