I'm still digging my Laney LC15-110, the newer model that came out in 2008. It's pretty close to everything the LC15s should have been. Better design, better construction, more gain, and the stock celestion speaker (G10N40) in there is great. Even without considering the price, it's a fantastic package.

+3 or 4, lost count, for the Blues Junior.

You can go loud while staying clean, it's not transparent but it likes pedals, giving them it's own tubey flavor which I think it's nice. My distortion pedal is all tube anyway. The tone controls don't have too much travel but are very musical, and the reverb is nice to have but not out of this world. If you don't mind having a few pedals, it's a great, cheap platform to start with.

I bought a limited edition hand-built Mean-13 several months ago and I still love it.Its no t the 'Little Giant' from Crate with the MERCURY mod....Its a ground up build using MERCURY transformers and other high quality parts. It even came with it's own hardwood box finished in shellac and individually numbered that says 'made in U.S.A.'I got mine from 'the amp exchange'.It's 13 watts but when you turn it up all the way it sounds like 24 or 25 watts- it can get really loud. There E-mail:[email protected]
