The only problem with having two Stingrays is that you always feel like you should be playing the other one ! :p but nothing wrong with splitting the load ! congrats !

Sorry. You're right it is honey burst. Not sure yet what year she is. If anything the 2eq is easier to get a more vintage tone but I love them both!!!

No, Sunburst is correct. It was later renamed Honeyburst but this being a 90s instrument it would still go under Sunburst. If you take off the neck you'll find the stamp indicating the colour in the neck pocket. Also possibly in the pickup cavity.

You could also run the serial number by EBMM Customer Service and check what data they have on it.

I've submitted the serial number. Just waiting for a response. I think, looking at other serial numbers, that it's around 1994.

Exact same color as my 1989 2-band EQ RW. Until last year I was assuming it to be honeyburst, but the stamp in the neck pocket says SUNBST.
