What’s everyone’s thoughts on the Dargie green?

I am kind of interested in the Dargie majesty… what do y’all think of that Color / finish? I think I was interested in the ‘traditional’ majesty with the proper inlays, shield, etc…. But this one is intriguing. I also found one locally at a good price, so I am a bit torn… Its pretty badass looking, but I wonder if I will regret not buying a majesty with a flame, or without the standard inlays, etc.

Decisions, decisions.

The original Dargie Delight green was the absolute best in my opinion. The Dargie 2's and current Dargie green doesn't do it for me personally.

I think there are better color Majesty's out there personally.

Good luck with the decisions. Glenn |B)

The original is the best, DD II was nice I like it but the current one is not my cup of tea, I think the red crimson finish on a majesty is awesome.

Its tough to pick a color for someone else - hypothetically one man's 'Marine Sparkle' is another man's 'Blue Steakhouse'. I personally prefer the simplified look of the inlay-runway as opposed to the shields on the limited models. If you don't like the Dargie Green, then you should probably find another finish (likely to always sit in the back of your mind). I *love* the full flame top Majestys, but they're just too cost prohibitive for me.

In any event, the Majestys are absolute certified Class A Destroyers. I'm traditionally anti-shredder profiles, but the guitar is just so damn comfortable to play and sounds amazing.

Yup, agree. The original Martini Olive Green is the best. Cool that it has those yellow tones like an olive.
The later runs of the Dargie II and BFRs don't do it for me.
There are always some on Reverb for sale; but you rarely see the original Dargie 1.

Yes this!

The original was definitely my favorite. Had a JP DD1 and DD2. The martini inlays were such a cool touch, but the colorshift on the II was really nice.

Regarding the Dargie Majesty, that just doesn't seem like a Dargie. That paint just isn't the same.
