I have so many gifts already: A nice home sitting on several acres of land, a wonderful wife and 3 children, a couple of really good lifelong friends (the kind that can finish your sentences and know the subtleties of your moods), lots of guitars including my JP6, a tractor (don't laugh 'til your in my shoes), a college education, a nice truck, Freedom, a killer computer or three, a really good job in a stable company with great compensation & benefits, self respect, Love and Respect of my family and friends - I could go on.

Now juggling all that - I think I'd like a nap for Christmas.

Do you guys believe in Karma?

This afternoon, a buddy of mine who felt he owed me a big favor stopped by my house and said: "Here you go Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas! I gotta run. Talk to you later"

He handed me a guitar case and this was inside:

I'm still in shock. But very happily so! :)

The moral of the story? Be good to people, they really do appreciate it.

I've never received a guitar as a present, but I've given them presents on a few occasions.

My business partner/good friend was itching last year, so I bought him the strat he always wanted and souped it up for him. (yeah, yeah, i know ...) Good news is I think he's very close to upgrading to a Luke now :cool:

As for me, I'm a very lucky guy - not much else I could hope for this Chrismakah.

(I just hope Foggy gets a guitar, that's all really.)
