What's the 25th Silhouette gonna be like ??

Lionel I am a bit surprised you couldn't get on with the 20th. I just love the tone on that guitar. I find that having both a Silhoutte Special and 20th compliment each other very well.

Ah, but there is no right or wrong answer, whatever is good for the player.

Edit - I posted this the same time as Robuster... I guess we agree on these things. Too bad 3,000+ miles separate us, it would be great to get together for a jam.

Lionel, it's unfortunate that you did not get along with the 20th Silo and its tone. It's hard to believe, but everyone has their preferences of course. My ears hear a nice resonant punchy and clear tone...you cant compare this guitar to the Gibbs and Strats. But I do agree that the Silo Special is just an awesome guitar.

No one was comparing. Just that, aside from being visually stunning, there was nothing much else the 20th offered me that I didn't already have. Add that, and the tiny fact that it didn't have the tones I was after. I'm sure the new owners would love it a lot more than me.

Again, yes they do. But I'm also mainly a 22 fret player. The 24 fret neck tone bugs me. BIG time.

I would love to know a bit more about this one as well. BP has been keeping us in the loop w the Gamechanger...maybe that will be part of it as a standard? Unless there is a lot going on and we will have to wait till summer.

How about a Korina Silo with 3 single coils back routed and a roasted neck

All mahogany body and neck with maple cap in tobacco burst . Similar to BPs one off all mahogany Silhouette. Even the neck is a burst!!! That one is really cool.
