I don't really think the issue is products made in China.

Evidently, Hartley (at least at one time) appeared to be very set on the "made in America" principle with Peavey.

Even to the point where (according to BP) a deposition on Hartley's behalf was taken from BP.

Now, it appears, among other things, that Peavey has abandoned it's previous position.

I don't think there has been any Peavey bashing on this thread, just insight into music companies and their product decisions. Peavey does not even compare to Musicman in guitar product quality!!

And, even though I don't use their products (save one), it would hurt to hear genuine Peavey criticism because they have been involved in the music scene in America for so long!! Even though they are the competition (in one category)they're still in the family. Just my opinion.

"doing busines with superstores (GC) is like hanging out the window of a skyscraper being held by one hand" Something like that......Now he sells GC.....hmmmm

I just stumbled upon this.

Didn't Bob Taylor say one time "You will never see a Taylor guitar in a mail order magazine!"?

It's one thing if you don't say it and do it. But... come on, stick to your guns! Glad to see EBMM still made in USA btw. One of the only major mannies still doing it.

Still want a Luke.
