Hey fellas,
I use hybrid slinky 9 to 46 for my epip les paul studio.

Whats the diff between regular, super, beefy and hybrid slinkys?
Whats recommended for a les paul?
What are the disadvantages and advantages of having hybrid 9 to 46 for my les paul?

The difference would be string gauge. The Regular is 10-46, Super is 9-42, Hybrid is 9-46 and Beefy is 11-54. You can use any of these gauges for a Les Paul or any other guitar. It depends on what you like. The thicker the string gauge the more difficult it can be to bend strings, but you'll get a fatter tone out of a thicker string. Only you can decide what works for you in terms of tone and playability. Keep in mind that if you go to a drastically different string gauge you may need to make adjustments to the guitar (wider nut slots, trus rod adjustments, intonation adjustments, etc). If you are not comfortable doing these types of adjustments your local guitar tech or repair shop can help you out.

I just put Beefy Slinky's on a Les Paul Scale guitar (a "V"). Tuned down to B, they are close to .09's tuned to standard in bendability.
