There were several prototypes that some what mimicked the setup and switching configuration of the original Morse. From what I understand, it was decided that the switch was to be removed from the production version. There are some pictures floating around of this particular guitar ( I believe) that has this switch removed and a black plug in its place.

Here is a clean picture of one with the switch from the original press announcement back in Jan 05.

They originally started as creamy but when Steve and Sterling got done with them, the pusms were purple. That's what makes them master-weeners.
