Any SS or Albert Lee owners... does anyone know what the material is that musicman glues to the underside of the trem to protect the body when the trem makes contact ?
Whats under SS & Albert Lee trem ?

It's just an adhesive strip of some sort of felt. My guess is no more than 0.5 mm thick, maybe 1/64".

It's a self-adhesive felt that is meant to protect the top of the guitar from the bridge.
