Whats up with the Dude Pit??

Is it just me or is The Dude Pit not working?? I havent been able to get in for several days now. Anybody know whats going on??

It was working earlier... just didn't seem to be much going on there. It's down at the moment.

I posted a question there last week and hadn't had any response the last time I checked. You would think you would get some kind of answer.

I can only speak for myself, but the traffic in the Pit's MM forum is much slower than here, so I spend more time here. Now, if you're talking about the fact that EZBoard seems to be down for maintenance fairly frequently, then that's another issue.

The MM forum at the Pit is often quiet when Jack is away. As for ezboard access issues, if you delete your ezboard cookies you should be able to get in again.

There's far more to the Pit than the MM forum. You want to buy or sell gear with reputable people? Check. You want to as questions about amps, effects, strings, technique, repair, other brand basses? Check. You want to shoot the breeze with experienced bass players on a range of topics? Check. You need the lowest prices on TI or Roto strings, onboard preamps, headphone amps and various bass brands? Check. The Pit rocks for all manner of things, while this is the best place to talk about MM basses.
