Ya know? I was already set to start planning on a Silhouette Special because I just love the OLP Silo Special that I recently got. I did already start saving, but an interesting thing happened recently. Up until a few days ago, I hadn't played it standing up (ok,ok, I'm always either playing on the couch or in bed, always). I noticed that because of the forearm contour, I had a little big more difficulty picking than I do with my other guitars (Gibby Melody Maker, PRS McRosey, both of which do not have forearm contour).
I'm sure I'll get used to it, but I might have to consider another MusicMan (axis or Morse). I just find the Silo Special to be extremely versatile and of course, an awesome player.
I will say this....I've yet to play an EBMM that I wasn't impressed with. How many other brands can we say that about?
