I have a Pac Blue Burst ASS with piezo and rosewood going on order this weekend. The wait will be the death of me. What is it, 4-6 months?

My wife ordered my Axis in March of last year ... got it in early October. It got pushed back at least twice. Sorry to be the bearer of such wonderful news for you. Hope you have better luck. I don't think I would have been able to stand it. I'm just mad that mine was under the same roof as me for two months before I got to play it.

Anyway, my next EB purchase will probably be the straplocks if they get released before I need new strings. If not, it'll be strings. I'm trying to convince my wife that, for next Christmas, I really need another Axis in Black Cherry Burst. So far, she doesn't see things my way. :p

My Axis was ordered in September and completed in December. 3-4 months has been the average so far for me.

I'm still trying to decide what I'm going to order. I'm flipping a coin between a AL and a Silo.

The AL will be either:

- trans red, white pearloid pg, trem, SSS, matching headstock (my local dealer has it in store)
- trans gold, shell pg, trem, mm-90-s, natty headstock

The Silo would be:

- blue pearl, white ice pg, HSS, trem, natty headstock. (I wish purple and green were still available)

Here's hoping I take delivery on my new EBMM right around May 16, it would be nice to have something tasty to play with after I finish my last UNLV exam of the semester

Next I'm definitely going for another BFR Petrucci, this time one in Tobaccoburst. I'm not sure if it'll be a 6 or 7 yet, but I'm leaning more towards a 7 just to change it up a bit.

The first EBMM I order new will be a Rad red silo, with rosewood and matching head, trem, and black ice. After that, a Desert Gold with maple and white guard, which might end up a SSS config. I plan to reward myself after spending so much time in school :D

Ive been looking at an ASS like that one Dave for a little while, its awesomebut there's no amber colour option available, so thats why i asked, only trans gold or trans orange come close, or is it a custom colour?

Let me check - to be honest its probably trans gold - I'll get back to you.

Dave

P.S. I had the boss of Radial Engineering in the other day - he loved it (never plugged it in - just let it ring in his hands)

I'm hoping for a Lefty Black Cherry Burst Axis Super Sport with maple board.
That should be a nice compliment to my Luke.:)
