My number one is my pinkburst BFR Albert Lee...hands down the best sounding guitar I've ever played. The MM90 rosewood neck AL is a close second. I try to give all my guitars equal attention though.

It may be a surprise to some, perhaps not everyone, that my #1 was my base standard 2010 JP6 blue pearl. That thing was a machine, it was just perfect, even without the bells and whistles. I regretfully sold it, but my new #1a is my trans black BFR, my #1b is the 2010 loaded JP6 (showing on the left).

I have a 2010 JP7 Stealth on the way later this spring, we'll see where that shift things around.

My #1 is this 2001 model JP6 in Autumn RedRise with a transplanted all-rosewood neck. #2 is a 3-way tie between a Dargie I JP, a Dargie I LUKE, and a Dargie II Silhouette Gold Roller

Just curious, Pete - are those the original pickups on your 2001 JP6? I have a 2003 JP6, and love it, though I find that the pickups have just a little less "oomph" than the other guitar that I sometimes play (one that was made in Maryland).

No question that my JP6 is my #1 guitar... just wondering if others who have guitars from the same era have modded the pickups.

Kind of swings between the Axis Sport and the JP6. I prefer the tone of the the Sport but prefer the neck and the trem of the JP.

Texas Finally!
Well mine always varies but right now it is the HH AL with the coil split on the volume pot. Said it before but this feature kicks up a killer guitar another notch!! Going to check out a few more this weekend at the Dallas Guitar Show!!!
