The 25th Anniversary beats every other guitar I own in terms of versatility, tone and looks (even my rosewood necked AL). It's really that good.

considering how few 25ths are really out there...I'd say it's fairing quite well!!!

I remember playing an AL for the first time in 1999, it felt like the greatest luxurious guitar I could never afford, from the heavens. I was just holding it wondering why everyone wasnt playing them. Just awesome simple greatness. Oh geez get me a towel.

LoL!!!!! :D
Makes me want to get one.
An AL, not a towel!

I have to say I'm impressed that the Silhouette/Silhouette Special are doing so well in the poll. I was expecting the combo to have much lower votes.

I voted for the Silo special because I like it for its stratty sounding way with much more playability. For me and the music I´m playing, the best guitar I could found, and I really played a lot before, strats, paulas, prs and so one.

But I´m very interested to get an AL in my hands (never played one before) to compare these two (my SS is a three SC model with mapleneck).

Wow... The Axis Super Sport is THE forum choice? Followed by the Axis which is tied with the Silhouette Special.

Ok, I'm not so surprised that the Axis is up there, but what happened to all the JP fans? The JP6 is 4th after the Luke in 3rd place? I'm surprised!

Anyways, WAY TO GO SILO SPEC!!!!!!

(ain't it ironic that the 2nd most popular guitar in the forum has no specific BFR model? Hahahhahaa)

I like so many, but when it came down to 'the choice,' there's just something about the ASS that turns me on. Sleek little ergonomic rock machine (and so much more).

Luke BFR. I don't own one but I've played one. I own two JP's (my balls look the same except one goes lower than the other...)

I was always very Pro Silhouette (Special). I still like them, but I'm beginning to lean more to the Axis (mostly soundwise that is). Also I noticed last week, that arm contours have a negative effect on my right hand technique. Finding a guitar without an arm contour but with a belly cut is luckily not that hard. :)
