Wow! What happened there?
Two lefties and a baby don't make a right!

Leftyguitarblue and ProtoChicken (and baby) swung in for a visit and lunch today. Scott's BFR was damaged in an unfortunate incident so our luthier is going to patch it up good as new. After a pizza & sodas Scott bailed towards New Jersey while Proto went towards MA (and left a bag of dirty diapers)

Was Nick with you? If so you had 3 lefties and a baby, that would make a bad movie:D

Ouch!!! Scott what happened to the BFR?

friggin UPS loves to throw packages around that say "Fragile" apparently. I was cleaning it last week and noticed what look like a hair between the pickup cavity and neck. Well, needless to say, it wasn't a hair. I went to Dubaldo's today to have his guy look at it and that's how far down the crack goes, but apparently it's not too hard a fix.

With hearing stuff like this, I really can't stand shipping companies anymore. They need to be careful with people's stuff. I've had a crapload of terrible experiences with both FedEx and UPS, and DHL.

I agree. Imagine a world where they actually "handle with care?" thats the world I want to live in Phil. :)

Who go to the bother of designating something as "fragile" and they still throw it around like it's baggage from an airplane. Sorry to hear this Scott....that truly does suck in every possible sense of the word.

I should add that I insured it for it's full value, but UPS is going to fight me tooth and nail on it.

Yeah, it sucks Donnie, but I trust Pete and his guy to get it like new. It could have been worse; the whole neck could have been trashed or something.

Wow, that really sucks Scott! Sorry to hear that your beautiful BFR JP6 got damaged like that.

Best regards,
Slav
