When did they start putting the dummy coil on single humbucker model Stingrays? I just got a used SR5 and like the idea of a dummy coil for the single coil position although I'm pretty sure they didn't have them back then.

So this bass could or should have it then. I didn't want to have to pull the pickup and try to tell or anything. I've gt to get the strings I like on it and get the action tweaked for my first gig with it in three days. Not really the time to dismantle!
