I believe it was 93.... could be wrong though.. I read a Guitar World article and he mentioned the fact that he had a new EBMM signature model....

You already have the BFRs and the limited editions. Japan got some really cool ones...the amber BFR which is by far my favourite and also the Envy Green with Gold hardware. What else are you looking for?

If I can swim through my befuddled head.. I think I asked Luke what his first track/album/session was after he came onboard. I'm either still waiting for answer or more likely forgot it.....but it was early 90's

I remember from a Toto show I saw that Luke was using them on the US leg of the Kingdom of Desire Tour in early Summer 1993.

This Same year he used them on the recording of the "Candyman" CD.
I remember seeing a Live Lobotomys show in October 1993 where they
debuted a bunch of the new songs from the CD which they said they were still recording.

I also recall an interview where Luke said that "Never Walk Alone" from
"Candyman" was the Luke prototype with Duncan pick-ups.

Also in Guitar World in mid 1993 he talked about his "New Guitar" and
the recording of "Candyman". He was pictured with the Purpleish/Blue
prototype that had (I Think) Duncan pickups.

He might have also used his first EBMMs on Jimmy Webbs "Suspending Disbelief" CD.
He played on pretty much the entire CD and i was also recorded in late 1992 or early 1993.

So my guess would be early 1993
