Hi fellas,
some of you might have read that I just had a motorbike accident 3 weeks ago. By now I am slowly recovering, but with 7 ribs broken directly next to the spine on the right hand side of my back, it's pure torture to sit, lay down or even try to sleep. Best thing for me at the moment is to spend my days up and move slowly, but as one might guess, playing guitar is somehow a little hard when you cannot really hold one with a weak back...
Now - being at home, not able to do anything useful really pisses me off and gets me pretty frustrated. Whenever I get those feelings - that's when my female side kicks in telling me the soothing words "C'mon boy, get yer ass up and go shopping !"
So, as I had to get myself some additional medication, I tried to drive my car for the first time in three weeks now to go to the pharmacy and get some stuff. The driving went quite well so I decided to park my car in town and give my tech's shop (you know "Mick" from the forum) a li'l visit and see what's up at his'.
Now what do my sore eyes behold in his display window ?!?!
SHOPPING !!!
The new Ernie Ball Wah was just what it took to sooth my frustration
I also got myself a few bottles of a nice li'l Australian Shiraz-Cabernet to go along with the Wah for tonight, and I guess I'll be doing increasingly better from today on, even though it'll take a couple more weeks before I can go see my bandmates & amps at rehearsal place again...
