watch some decent FREE online tutorials on HOW to PLAY the GEETAR!? I practice a lot but feel that I'm not really improving on technique or playability and want that to change!

Youtube (of course). Though not free, look up Jamie Humphries (a forumite too), he's a monster player and has great tutorials available.
