The boxes hold 15 sets of strings. Guitar Center had a big sale last weekend.. I grabbed 15 sets of Super Slinky strings. With the sale price they were under $4 per set.

theres this complicated procedure that they go through at GC...
several steps:
1. Take 5 boxes of strings.
2. Empty one box of strings
3. Put 3 sets more into each remaining box, totaling 15.
4. Sell 3 more sets of strings each time you sell a box.
5. Make more money.
6. Repeat steps 1-5 as necessary.

Thanks for the insight, Joel. I was beginning to think I dreamed the whole thing, in spite of the fact that I have a box of 15 Super Slinky sets at home right now..

It only happened with the .009 strings - are they packed by weight or hand-packed? I thought you guys were hookin me up
