After spending all morning on the phone I'm running out of options. No one has this guitar and very few can get it. The only lead I found for ordering one was at a Guitar Center, and they weren't sure on the options they could get and the price was extremely inflated. I tried Googling some online stores and didn't find much. What i'm after is a JP6 with piezo, rosewood inlays, matching headstock, in pearl redburst. I wanted to work a deal with a Guitar Center because of their generous return policy. I have never touched a JP6 before and hate to fully commit myself in case I absolutely hate it when I play it (highly unlikely). So my question to you all is where did you find your Petrucci, and what did it cost you?

Thanks in advance for any information provided.

Thanks for the info. I tried calling but they're apparently closed on Sunday so I sent an e-mail. For those of you that have ordered from them, about what price am I looking at for a fully optioned JP6?

Thanks

JP prices

Retail prices are not discussed on this forum as a rule of the forum, only prices for used, you may want to check the guitars for sale thread and see if there is a used one. Also look online at guitarcenter.com and the evil bay it will give you a pretty good idea of what you will have to spend. On that note you will like the guitar once you have held it in your hands. Pete will get back in touch with you he is great with communications.:)

MSRP is okay to discuss here. Street prices from dealers is not.

I got mine from Guitar Center. You can get in touch with Pete DuBaldo, as suggested above. There are many other places like Wild West Guitars, Make 'N Music. Pete's really a good guy to deal with. I've never bought anything from him, but a lot of people have. I fully intend to buy something from Pete before the end of the year. It's just a matter of what and when.

You could also try
Rockland Music

I've bought from them as well as Pete. But I believe Rockland has that model as described in-stock, or at least they did last week when I was in the store.

Good Luck

I got both of my JP7's over the net. The last one was from Bass Central (www.basscentral.com). They have quite a few JP's in stock all the time it seems.

As others said though, I pretty much always try Pete first. It was just unfortunate at the time I needed to purchase he didn't have any in stock or arriving in colors I liked (I was pressed for time, couldn't afford the wait).

But if it's not a time-sensative thing, I'd just order it from Pete. :)

Any Guitar Center will place the order for you with Ernie Ball. That's how I got my first one. My 2nd was was ordered from Pete Dubaldo. But he licks every EBMM before he ships it off to it's owner. ;) So I'd go with Pete!
