Hey Kids,

I just got the Dear John letter from Tyler's new manager. He has left us for Fender. His manager and Tyler feel that Fender will give him the best chance at fame and fortune. I dont think he left because of any problem with our guitars or strings. It's business.
It's rock and roll.

I guess that means there will be a relic'd tyler signature series strat for 5 g's. j/k

Best of luck w/ the kid. I hope he had the decency to talk to you personally BP. If not, I lost all respect for the kid. Getting your manager to do this for you after what you did is a kick in the nuts in my books.

My uncle is a body man/panel beater and took great care of his workers. They went behind his back and started their own business and tried to steal customers. My uncle said if they were just straight with me from the start I would have helped them get started on their own, instead of this behind the back bs.

Well if this is not a joke, then how sad, Tyler best of luck in your future endevors business is business even if some dont agree with your decision like myself, BP did quite a bit for you since I have been around, but good luck man.

The burning questions is, Et Tu Ben?

We'll have to ask him if Fender throws parties with Texas-shaped toast for their forumites and have Tyler play at those gigs...

:D ;)

That's sad to hear.
I know I might be a little biased, but I totally disagree.
Fender being a large company and a zillion artist working for them, he's just going to get lost in the mix. I hope I'm wrong because he's obviously talented.

I wonder if that Vinnie Moore fan from last year has anything to say on this topic. HaHaHa!

Grumble, grumble, grumble.... non innovating, repackaging old tired idea peddling, cartoon carrot dangling, corporate hoohas

I once heard a wise man say that artists still record with the superior instruments though...

Good luck with all you do Tyler....I love hearing you play and look forward to whatever you put out.

It is a tough business....and that is what this is. We all love Pops...but...it was a decision made and we all have to live with it. Of course, we would all love to see him with an EBMM in his hands....but...it's not the case at this time. Let's keep a cool vibe for Tyler and not let this get out of hand.

My 2 pennies.
