Help! Where to buy replacement tuner for Petrucci BFR?

Hi,

I am outside the US and have a Petrucci BFR 6 String from around 2009 I believe.

The D string tuner has developed some play in the tuning peg so it appears to slip a bit in either direction before applying torque when trying to tune the string.

The tuner has a pearl head. Think I need a replacement tuner, but I am not sure of the exact model part or where to buy a replacement to be shipped outside the US.

Any help?

Check for the easiest fix first! Is the screw that holds on the tuning peg tight? When those loosen up it can cause the symptom you describe.

Thanks for the response. Yeah I have tightened the screw holding the peg on with no change to the issue. I think it must just be worn.

Any idea where I can source a replacement internationally? And what exact part I need?

AFAIK JP6 tuners are Schaller M6-IND so you could contact Schaller directly: Official Schaller Onlineshop

You can get one directly from EBMM, but not sure about outside US. Contact Customer Service and ask -- they will tell you the best/easiest approach.
