Tell me why.

I thought it was a fairly innocuous question, but there must be a good reason it shouldn't have been here.

I don't want to upset anyone, just wondered about getting a Bongo for a decent price, without the middle man, y'know?

Can someone fill me in?

1) Had anything to do with a specific price...

or

2) It involved getting a new bass from someone other then a EBMM dealer in the U.K.

But you can't blame a guy for wanting the best deal he can get eh?

I'd still like the advice on pup configs etc. It'll defo be a 4 with a RW board. I'm thinking HS, but opinoins welcome.

It's kinda a sticky situation...

I mean like you said, we all want the best deal we can get...

but laws are laws.

If the price you are quoted from a U.K. EBMM Dealer is in the range of other U.K. dealers...I don't see how it's NOT fair, even if say we in America may get the instruments for less. I would love to own a Jaguar for a substantial discount but It's just now how the cookie crumbles. To put it back on bass matters , If you want EBS amps/cabs in America you are gonna pay premium because they are made in Sweden. If I was to live over there I'm told I would pay much less. Does that Suck? Sure... Is it fair... I would say so.

JB, numbah twelve from the seldom-read FAQ above:

12. Can we discuss discount prices on the forum?

A: No. EBMM does not allow dealers to post discount prices on the internet, and it subverts that policy if we post discount prices here on the forum.


That doesn't mean you can't PM me (or anyone else) - and I'd be glad to point you in the right direction of the best deal around.
