Has anyone heard from Vinnie recently? Should we pick on him like we did with Luke to draw him out?

I picked up Mind's Eye this week - awesome album! Now I know why many consider it to be one of the best shred albums ever.

The hair, not so much.

I remember the first time I heard the Mind's Eye album... I loved it! A buddy loaned me a cassette tape of that album and I couldn't believe my ears. I had to run out and buy it (in the form of a vinyl LP in those days) right away!

I had Vinnie sign my album cover at a clinic that he did shortly after the album came out. Still have it. Of course, I also own Mind's Eye on CD along with Time Odyssey (which I also have on vinyl).

The hair didn't bother me then, and it doesn't now either! Hahaha. Hey, I was a teen in the 80's.. what can I do?

Anyway, glad you bought Mind's Eye. Great album that I never get tired of hearing.

Yeah - I'm really enjoying it. I'm probably going to pick up some of his other albums as well.

I don't really mind the hair either - like I said, just pickin on him. I guess I'm one of the oddballs who misses 80's hair metal (apparently it's a hot button over at harmony central and on other forums). Never cared for the whole glam/makeup thing - but I sure do miss the guitar being out front.

Make sure you get Meltdown and the Live Disc (can't remember the title). Very good albums. I'd love a live DVD of him.

Congratulations!

So...what is the "senior member" joke? Forgive me if the brain is slow, but I've had a fever for the last two days. Lots of sleep, haven't felt like picking up a guitar at all, and I keep hearing "Strange Brew" in my head while I have delusions of soloing with Eric Clapton. Dang, where'd the wife put the Tylenol?
