Off Topic Which Amp to plug into first with LUKE tonight???

So I'm gonna jam tonight with few friends at a rehearsal studio...the other guitar player cant make it so It's just me, drummer and keys. Now what do YOU guys think I should plug into first??? Of course this will be a brilliant opportunity to test drive the LUKE through some PROPER amps. I've never seen so many amps in one rehearsal space!!!!! Check out the list what's in our room:

The BIGGEST problem is that we have 2 hours!!! Nowhere near the time I need to test drive em all probably. Maybe I should cancel the jam and go by myself for 2 hours? hahaha I think it would be worth $60 alone!

Oh yea, I ATTEMPT to play heavy rock/fusion. So I am looking at the distortion side of things first hehehe.

:confused: Wow!!! I don't know which I'd try first. They are all good amps. I might try the Bruno only because I have always wanted to try one but I agree, the I would probably end up using the VHT. Bogner or Dr. Z

The BB Preamp will be joining me as well, and I'm looking forward to kicking that in front of the JCM900 :D. That should sound rather nice?

And The Shiva is the winner tonight!!! That thing sounded absolutely amazing! I did not have so much time to try them all out, and I'm not knocking any of the other ones especially the more clean based amps. I was mainly playing with distortion, and the Shiva delivered...beautiful warm thick tone, very clear and the LUKE was just a dream to play through this amp. Sounded phenomenal when I kicked in the BB Preamp as well.

There was actually a VHT Pitbull which also sounded great, but had some technical difficulties cutting out and rattling, so I had to steer away from that one.

The Mesa Boogie also sounded good, but the Shiva owned it. The Nomad unfortunately was MIA...only the cab from the combo was left behind.

The Marshall JCM900 just had waaaaay too much high end and sounded quite fizzy to me...The JCM800 sounded much better when I played through that last time in another studio.

Overall a GREAT experience running through a lot of nice amps with a brilliant guitar! Oh, the Dr. Zs sounded real nice too for clean...but that was very brief encounter. Will spend more on those next time I go :D.

That's exactly why I want to get one. Plus I dont have space for heads and cabs and certainly cannot play at insanely loud volumes. One of the most brilliant achievements in music gear in recent years.
