Can't recall what put my mind there, all of 12hr ago, but the idea was a sort of "B&W negative" bass: White finish, white PU cover, black PG and all black harware.

Fingerboard could be either rosewood or maple, since each is the 'negative image' of the other and each is popular. Can't get black frets, so get not frets at all! Black strings of course.

Would be the bass from the parallel universe. Maybe it should be the standard dress for leftish basses?

Ho, I had forgotten about the now legendary Orange Stingray (OSR).

That thing did get around, and it was such a great looking bass, no matter who was fondling it.
