Question Which Bongo to buy?

I'm itching for another EBMM and I'm considering another Bongo to go with my Stealth. IF I were to choose another Bongo, what's the best move?

* A Single H
* An HH with Piezo?

Your thoughts?

I tried out a H once and it has a sweetness all it's own.

Since you have an HH, go for the single H!

Always single H the only question to answer is how many strings.

I love 5 strings and enjoy the 6 strings. LOL.

But always bongo.

Have you considered a single H w/ piezo? I would think that would be the MOST different from your Bongo HH AND from your SR5 H....plus you get single H tone, but still get the regular 4-band EQ of the multi p/u Bongos.

But, of the options listed, I would choose single H.......with piezo.

Not thet I have anything against the HH, it's my fave, but the single H is an altogether different bass, very useful. Andy yes, I do own an SR5 single H, not much those two have in common except manufacturer, number of strings and one pick up...

My vote is an HS to go with the HH. First - I like the 4 band EQ. But I was also very surprised just how different the HS sounds. The S really. But having the HS allows some of the HH sound to be there when you want it.

The S is more a "traditional" sound in my humble opinion while the H has the "Bongo Boink" down. With the HS I don't have to give up the boink while playing - just pan the pickups a twit. Very nice in live situations since you can't change basses every soung.
