I'm just reminded of a soundguy a mates band got to do one of their gigs, it was a huge gig, he was a "so called" professional, had work with alot of top bands, l was standing behind them, there was alot of beer bottles behind the mixing console, and he was downing them like nothing, and he did a bad job at mixing, there was constant feedback, the mix was terrible, he used way too much echo on the vocals. I've heard amateurs do better jobs, and this guy would of cost a fortune.
