Hi guys,
I'm curious.........
Is it just me that prefers the feel, play and tone of the standard JP to the BFR version???
I played both a couple years ago when was looking at buying one and the weight of the BFR put me off as it didn't feel as balanced, and the tone was darker and more mid heavy, whereas the standard model seemed to have more clarity and the paint job being on the back of the body and the plain birdseye maple neck as opposed to a painted one sold it to me.
Don't get me wrong though, the BFRs are sweeet! and I would love a JP7 in bahama blue or Amethyst purple....or black burst....!!! Shame I cant have the standard model with that finish!!!!!
Let me know what you all think!!!
