Im sure id adjust to slapping, plus a 5er wouldnt be my main bass for slap, my sterling would still do that. Im sure i can slap on a HH, itd just take a little adjusting.

Another question i have is if the HH sr5's are wired in parallel? Since the 5 way coil switcher just switches which coils are active, are they always in parallel?

Is this going to be the big difference between the sr5 and the sterling5? Will the sterling5 be series then?

How's this? Sorry about the quality. I couldn't find a better pic of a bass in that particular combination, so I had to use this one & then copy/paste a new pickguard & then add the second humbucker.

Yea i like the color combo a lot. I would go maple except rosewood looks a lot better with that color combo and matching headstock, plus i want the 5er to have a slightly different sound, a little less bright than my sterling.

Piezo adds 300 to 400 hundred to the cost, but there are no plans to have that as an option on the duals for the time being.
Das ist ein gebummenendrangen mgilah. Bongos offer dual mag PU's plus piezo, no? What gives? Just spreading out the timing on the release of new options? Or is it not possible with current preamp/EQ systems?
