Which EBMM has the most Les Paul like tone?

I think my Koa BFR JP sounds pretty close to a LP. Its thick and meaty sounding but articulate at the same time.

this is why I asked which EBMM had the most Les Paul like tone and not which EBMM sounds like a Les Paul.

This in itself, in your case, is already a problem. What to you is a Les Paul like tone? We've never heard your 54 RI. We know it's got P90s. So the closest thing you can find is a mahogany based P90 guitar, which EBMM has none of. Unless you consider the BFRs.

But again, what most people think of when they hear "Les Paul", are humbuckers. and PAFs at that. The only guitars which have PAFs or similar are the Silhouette, and the Silo 20th. But both of those, are 24 fretters, and will not have that nice woody Les Paul neck tone.

So, in your case, perhaps you should be more clear in what it is you're looking for? Help us a bit by defining what it is your Les Paul has that you'd like to preserve tone-wise?

Then again, also do remember that EBMM has guitars that emulate few others in the market. the Axis was designed for EVH, the JP6 for Petrucci, Luke for Steve Lukather and the AL for Albert Lee. None of their models comes close to a Les Paul in what these people wanted in a guitar, possibly with the exception of EVH, who did use a rewound version of the PAF in his Frankenstrat. But again, that was a humbucker, and not the same tone you're used to in your 54RI.

So what you're asking for might be sort of a tall order unless you define better what it is you're after.

I just noticed Musicians Friend still has at least one of the BFR Koa ASS: Buy Music Man Axis Super Sport Electric Guitar with Tremolo | Solid Body Electric Guitars | Musician's Friend

Alder body with mahogany tone block, 2 humbuckers, 22 frets, and most interestingly a mahogany neck. it might get you closer than everything else. I think someone here in the forum had or has one, they could give you their opinion.

Just an FYI, the KOA ASS is a great guitar, i had a hard time with the sealed neck but it is not close to a LP tone, KOA is much brighter even with the mahog TB, great guitar with tons of sustain and tones out the azz but it is bell like think Brian May
