Sup yall...this is my first forum up. I am new to Ernie ball, but not new to Bass. Ive been in about 8 bands in my life, (all where i played bass), and I have always used Ibanez and Warlock, but i played a Ernie Ball, and am now a firm believer. But with this new arena of interest, I find myself needing help when it comes to selecting one. I run ampeq SVT-(4x10)HE, and SVT-(1x15)E. through the 350watt B2R head. Its a nice set up 4 me, and pretty much my pride and joy, but i must move up. Time to select a new kind of bass. I like alot of depth, aswell as good thumpedge. Plz help:confused:

WEll i have to agree with the suggestion of amp. The SM-900 is swweet, but i persoanlly would purchase a 750x.

For the bass...go STingRay or sterling, and check out http://www.mmbasscentral.com/ it has a good selection of colors. Good luck, and i know u'll love the EB. :D

But, i'd hate to say it..if u have some money, u may want to cehck out the Warwick Thumb...yes i said it..happy... I personally think u may like the growl the the thumb produces.. but it is designed for slap. But don't rule out the StringRay, because it has equall thumpage IMO.
