Which neck do you like better? Axis or EVH?

I'm partial to the EVH since that's what I own. It is little too narrow but it plays great and the narrowness doesn't really get in the way. I can see how some might prefer the Axis neck but it seems more mass produced to me and doesn't have as much of that broken in feel for an obvious reason.

Anyone here prefer the Axis neck?

I kind of do. I have played both a lot, and I just keep going back to the Axis. I think that the neck feels so solid. I don't really have any other concrete examples of why, so my opinion may not be the best to go by.

In fact, just ignore what I have said.

You might do well to ignore what I have said in the other threads also. Not because they are bad necessarily, but as a punishment to me for this one.

i DEFFINITLY prefer the axis neck. i played many EVH's and i just didn't like the guitar at all. the slimmer neck felt much too weak for me and it was far too narrow which didn't provide enough playing area for me. i have larger hands and even the axis neck is slimmer than the norm. but i love how it plays and the guitar just feels right. the yet even slimmer neck on EVH was just too much and changed the feel of the guitar. so in the end i didn't even care for the guitar. anyways, thats just me and with my hands i love the axis neck the best i've ever played, but i just can't go thinner. but thats my opinion and you gotta go with what works for ya. take it easy guys!
