Me and Travis were talking, and we thought it'd be a fun idea to make this thread. The question is, out of all the sparkle finishes ever offered on EBMM basses, which would you want to bring back? This is purely for fun. I've come to terms with the fact Sparkle finishes will likely never, ever be offered again. I'm just curious about general opinion.

For me, I'd want to bring back white sparkle.

Another for white sparkle.

Had two white sparkle Sterlings. Great finish.

Second would be black sparkle, not far behind at all.

Definitely Lavender Pearl for me, or is that not a "sparkle" finish?

I kick myself regularly for not buying a Sterling in that color that was rw board, matching headstock:(

Oh, and I'd also like to bring back Copperhead Bronze, too.

Black Sparkle!

How much do I love the black sparkle?

I traded in my black sparkle Silo :( last year for a Blue Silo Special with piezo because I really wanted the piezo option for gigs etc. I love my Silo Special - and the blue finish with black perloid pickguard is gorgeous - but I really missed the black sparkle finish.

Lo and behold, my old black sparkle Silo reappeared at the store I traded it in at this past weekend. ZAP went my wallet and it is back home where it belongs!!!!

I really love the sparkle finish. I also have a SR5 that is black to red burst that is sparkle. Not to sound like McDonalds but - I'm lovin it!

Even though this thread is moot, I'd opt for Blue Dawn or the Autumn Sunrise or whatever it as called. Not the redrise thing that Paul Warren has on his JP (which was also a cool finish).

Probably Blue Dawn, the sort of cherry red burst sparkle thing, and Autumn Red Rise or Red Burst, or whatever it's called. Maybe, black sparkle.

PINK!!!!!

But being practical and choosing a colour others would want, I'd say Blue Dawn, one of the Autumn finishes or a Stratus Blue like Jack's :)

But I would dearly love a pink sparkle Sterling... mmmmm

BLUE DAWN!!! When I was looking to buy my first SR4, a blue dawn with matching headstock and piezos appeared on ebay, but the seller wanted £200 more than I had at the time. Looking back now I probably should have made a better effort to pony up the cash, but I don't lose any sleep over it. I ended up with a beautiful black/matching headstock/no piezos SR4, and at that time having never owned a MusicMan bass, I still got goosebumps every time I opened up the case.

Clear sparkle or plaid, or the whole bass in metallic with little specks of the paint. :D

seriously... I like the white sparkle, gold sparkle and black sparkle the best, but if I find a lefty Sterling in any sparkle, it's mine!

Well since they never offically made pink sparkle, that would be an awesome LE color for 2007!! :D

SteveB moot point agreed. Though PsycoWard Gold Sparkle would be great to see offered again.

I notice that people are choosing the Classy sparkle finishes, for the most part, White, Black, Gold and of course Blue Dawn.

Strato Blue would be a great color, it's a light blue metallic color. :)

When the idea of a forum instrument was being tossed around I think NorM had mentioned Purple Dawn, that'd be sweet.
