I have my very first Music Man Stingray, and I love it. But I am wanting to save a little each month to put to a new Music Man but which to save for the Big AL or 25th Anniversary?

What would yall get?

Syndrome!

Hmmm...they're both incredible.

I'd say Big Al, but I believe I may be a touched biased. Or just "touched."

I'm would recommend the 25th Anniversary but bear in mind that is the only MM I have and I'm still on my Honeymoon with it. :D

Thats exactly my dilemma: Big Al 5 H or 25th 5 bfr rw.

the Al will be a good lot cheaper, while the 25th is just awesome.

If there will be a rosewoodneck- option for the Big Al 5 I'd be sold an that.

25th. Best bass money can buy.

Yes, this is the one by far; one of the BFRs if you can swing it. Movie quote time...

Plus, I must be honest here; I love playing it. It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.

silhouette...you already have the best bass ever...why the heck not?

personally for me the next thing to get is a righteous tube powered amp but thats just me. im still working on that one. but if you allready got an awesome rig you should go for the bongo. nothing is easier when it comes to getting your sound AND you can successfully pull off the part in any band that incorperates space or the future into its gimmick!

but if its between those two id go for the large albert. i have no idea what that thing would sound like besides versitile. try it out. however i heard the 25th even souinds good without a battery which makes me what to check it out.

The Big AL is a bit of a departure from the EBMM vibe (i.e. it sounds very different than your bridge bucker equipped Music Man). Between that and your Stingray you should be able to cover a lot of sonic terrain.

HMMM.

The 25th is kinda like a Bongo on Steroids. So, if money is an issue I would consider the Bongo instead of the 25th.

Big Al is very nice too...those single coils sound so clear.

My vote goes to a Bongo for bass number 2 and then Big Al for bass number 3.
