I was looking at the materials list on pickguards.us today and noticed the adition of a new material called "Diamond Ice Pearl4-ply .095". Could this be white ice?

I've contacted them a long time ago to ask if they got white ice guards, but they said they didnt. Could it be that after EBMM discontinued the ice guards pickguards.us is making them now? Or was white ice an EBMM inhouse made material that is nowhere else available? :)

My take on this is - I was under the impression that all the EBMM pickguards are made by Chandler (pickguards.us). I'm sort of thinking that the diamond ice is not the same as white ice. Additionally, after spending hours searching materials from US material makers I have never come across anything like white ice. You could always send them an email and ask them if it's the same material as EBMM white ice.

I don't think white ice is a 4-ply material. There are knuckleheads that could confirm this.

But, hey, I could be all wet behind the ears.

Nope, It's not white ice... :( "Diamond Ice Pearl4-ply .095" is the middle material on this pic:

So the ice material must be an in-house made material. I tried/asked every pickguard maker, but none ever seen the material.
