Anyone know where I can get a white p/u cover for my SR 5?

Got a honey burst with white tort pick gaurd and wanna go pearl white with white p/u cover if possible

OK, I just read a thread on this forum that has a link to a site that sells white p/up covers for SR4's! I forget the name of the place, Aero?

The pickups covers for the SR5 are actually glued on so if you try to replace them, you're gonna end up destroying the p/up

Back when they came with Alnico pickups you could change out the covers, I don't know what year the change happened that you could no longer do that.

I think I still have a white SR5 cover around here.... as well as a alnico three band pre from a SR5.

Hi Darrin. I'm interested as to whether that version of the SR5 pre-amp still had the "TL062" IC chip. Can you dig it out and check.

It is at least the second generation board so it might not be an alnico version.
The board is 3/92 revision, the pots are R1379213
the chip is M9142 LF444CN
