My "Mugga" would kinda like to meet up with Jon's cute little chihuahua and maybe hang out together a bit.

Joking. Mugga's a Golden Retriever. They go out with duck shooters. I don't shoot ducks though. But if they decide to go for a splash in the swimming pool Mugga's on to them in a flash. Like a shark in the dark with plenty of spark ;)

If he's been doing a good job at muggin, he gets a can of beer poured into his bowl along side of his bone. None of this drinking milk stuff around here!

Yes, the beer drinking results in the extreme cuteness. I've been drinking beer since I was a child... :D

Gav, the best dog I ever had was a Golden Retriever (named Crypto for reasons I can't go into here).

He was so good, in fact, that I'm now seven years without a dog because I fear no normal dog could live up to his legacy.

I miss that old boy.

We were tight.

Your pup looks like a real firecracker.

Jack, I know just what you mean. Joe and I put our dog Bear to sleep three years ago (he was sick, poor baby). But you put into words what I have been struggling to express -

"He was so good, in fact, that I'm now seven years without a dog because I fear no normal dog could live up to his legacy."

That's exactly right.

And yes, the puppy is adorable! I LOVE golden retrievers. Bear was not a golden (he was half Norweigan Elkhound half German Sheperd), but I have lived with goldens on and off....and they are great beasties.

Here's my chihuahua "Jazz". At least that's what the people I got him from told me he was.
