So, you seem to know Singapore!
I'm there in February for a few days. I suspect I won't get any time to myself due to work commitments, but in case I do...

Where are there any guitar shops? Decent ones? I don't want to buy, but I may well have withdrawl symptoms;)
I'm guessing I'll be staying Orchard Parade/Tanglin Road way, but I won't know 'till nearer the time

erm... I AM Singaporean... Hahahaha... There are a couple of places to check out:

Peninsula Plaza/Excelsior Hotel - This one has smaller stores, but some good 2nd hand goodies. Davis Guitar is interesting. Has ESP and PRS. They used to carry OLP, but I think that's over. Check out Guitar Connection for vintage stuff, look for Kelvin, and tell him Lionel Wong sent you if you're interested in anything. Opposite that would be Music Theme. Nice average sized store, but a mixture of stuff in there. They're the distributor for EB strings (that's their retail front).

Bras Basah Complex 3rd Floor - Ranking Sports has some guitars, but I'm not a fan. Blackwood guitars is nice, but depends on whether they have nice stuff in stock. Opposite that would be Swee Lee Music. The largest guitar dealer in Singapore. But that's not their main outlet. The main one is in Sims Drive. (the taxi driver might know, but ask the conceirge to give your written directions)

The EBMM dealer Sinamex is in Selegie Complex, but they rarely have anything nice in stock. Mostly by order basis. But next to that in Peace Center is City Music. Good place for Line 6, Vox, Korg and Martin guitars...
