Who got it? It had to have been another knuclehead to get the jump on me. Even called before the store opened

I called 2 hours before the store opened and spoke with the manager. I didnt even have to say which guitar I was calling about, she knew and said she'd had a lot of calls already. Said it was sold already.

I'm amazed at how quick you guys pick up on these. I'd like to pick one up at that price, but the flippers tend to beat me to them. Not saying everyone here is a flipper.

Again, the last few that I have seen for low price on GC's used site, had issues. Since this is $400 less than the normal GC used EVH price I have to wonder. If someone here got it they should report back.

I don't see it. I liked that one Andy was selling, but I couldn't get over the action being higher than my liking. Not sure if it had neck or bridge shims or what all would be involved to get it lower so I passed on it.

Damn, looks like they sold it. You didn't miss out on that one anyway, had the worst top Ive ever seen on an evh. Keep your eyes open, they pop up all the time

I am probably keeping my EVH - I got the action super low, thanks to hard work and shims! Still think the neck is too small for me though, but it's a killer guitar!

PS--There's an awesome purple flamed top EVH on the GC used site. $1999. Not sure what shape it's in though...

I think if GC is selling it, the price will be too high, and the guitar will be too beat up to consider.
