Is this model a "limited run"? Could anyone post a video review of it if you have one?

I had one for a while but sold it as I like the neck on my y2d more

That being said, I believe the initial run was limited. Mm have released more of them without the BFR in the 12th fret

As for videos, there are a few on YouTube. One of the guys from here made this one

EBMM Steve Morse Dark Lord. - YouTube

First run were 70, all signed by Steve Morse and with the BFR inlay in the 12 fret.

It is an awesome guitar. The roasted neck is like butter, but its profile is wider than a regular Y2D axe...

I have one and love it.

i have one of the first run, and i love it!
yes, the neck is different, it is made after a les paul 1959 neck-shape.
so it is not like a regular y2d - but an awesome guitar as well.....roasted neck!!!

I purchased mine to ProMusicTools (Germany), last week.
This is one signed by Steve Morse and with the BFR logo at the 12th fret.
It sound huge, very versatile, great looking mapple top.
The neck feels bigger than on an usual Y2D, but it is still 41.3 mm wide at the nut. It does feel bigger, but not bigger than I would have liked it to be ....
Nevertheless, I DO feel much more at ease than on my usual EBMM that I previously owned before (Luke 2 and Y2D).
Awesome to play heavy blues !!!!!

I was dying for a first run - just because :) - and took a while to find one in pristine condition, but finally did so I'm a happy boy!

Somebody bagged one new-old-stock during the Guitar Center blow-out several months ago - that was a FIND right there and I'm jealous! :)

I love the neck and the tone - really should play it more often than I do...

I put my EVH Wolfgang Custom, my PRS mac58 and a PRS Swamp ash Special (1997) on deposit sale last week, since there was no more reason for me to keep them .... the Darklord allows me to get almost all their tone, in one single guitar !!!
I really wish MusicMan would allow Customers to choose from different shapes of neck !!!
I know most Music Man guitars are signature models, and thus these guitars have the specifications required from guitarists for whom they are built, but hell !!! I didn't keep my Luke 2 and my 2 previous YD2 because the neck profile was too narrow for my (rather big) hands, and I would really like Music Man to build a Luke with a wider neck !
Thank you Joe Bonamassa for ordering those Darklord with bigger neck !
Now if you could do the same with the Luke model, and I would be in heaven !!!!
